Zero Wastewater technology developed by Tekno-Forest Ltd has recently received widespread attention across Europe. It is a zero-emission system for car washes that eliminates wastewater discharge. The system, combining microbiology and engineering, uses bioadabtable Zeroline detergents, biofilm carrier reactors and flotation units to purify wash water, requiring fresh water only for the final rinse. Currently operating in Finland and Sweden, with plans to expand to other European markets. The system achieves high COD reduction with Zeroline detergents designed for rapid biodegradation. While the operating cost is low and water savings are significant, Tekno-Forest Ltd. aims to expand further, targeting operators seeking to meet stricter water use regulations and sustainability standards.
